میثاقِ مدینہ کے تناظر میں اقوامِ متحدہ کے منشور کا تنقیدی جائزہ
Abstract
Abstract:
United Nations is an international organization that was established to keep and maintain peace in the world. For this purpose a charter was developed according to which proposed objectives will be achieved. As we look on the objectives there is no doubt that by acting on this charter this world can be changed into paradise. But in actual this organization has failed to achieve its objectives. Contrary to it Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) did some treaties to different individuals, tribes and nations for the development of peace. In these treaties whatever the conditions were decided, those were fulfilled in its real spirit and the effects of these treaties were that Islam flourished in the entire Arab within a very short time. Islamic state that was established in Medina flourished in a very short time to the entire Arab. After that Khulafa e Rashideen followed the same principles whenever they signed any treaty to any nation and the result of it that such atmosphere of peace was created in the world that was exemplary. It is the need of the hour that United Nations should follow the principles and guidelines, emerge from the treaties of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) particularly Meesaq e Madina to resolve the conflicts found among the different countries of the world since decades.
Key words: United Nations’ charter, world’s peace, treaties of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), Meesaq e Madina.
