Arabic, with its rich linguistic structure and deep cultural roots, presents unique challenges for translators aiming to convey accurate and nuanced information to English-speaking audiences. This study conducts a comparative analysis of various Arabic news sources and their English translations, examining common difficulties such as idiomatic expressions, cultural references, and political nuances. Additionally, it evaluates the strategies employed by translators to maintain fidelity to the original text while ensuring clarity and relatability for English-speaking readers. The findings of this research contribute to a better understanding of the intricate dynamics at play in cross-cultural news translation, highlighting best practices and offering recommendations for improving translation quality in the media industry.
