Abstract
In the contemporary era where Muslims are faced with a number of difficulties, the acceptance of Islam has been equally escalated. It has been revealed by the majority of the newly converted Muslims that their conversion to Islam is influenced by the character and religious teachings of a fellow Muslim or a Muslim friend. It is because of them; they were inspired to understand Islam which resulted in their conversion. In the past many areas converted to Islam after getting inspired by the conduct, dealing and character of Muslim merchants. Keeping in view this aspect of preaching, there is a need to introduce new dimensions in this regard, so that this process may flourish. There is a need to train the permanent preachers as well as common Muslims who interact with non-Muslims on daily basis, so that they could be the ambassadors of Islam through their conduct, dealing and character. Instead of showing hatred towards non-Muslims, they should consider them raw material for preaching of Islam and hence be compassionate towards them.
This article discusses different aspects and strategies to make Muslim immigrants, the silent preachers of Islam by providing them the skills that will not only make them competent in job market but also turn them into the embodiment of Islam. Today the biggest asset of Muslim ummah is its manpower. A great number of this manpower is forced to leave their countries and reside abroad for the sake of earning. Europe, America, Australia and Gulf countries are considered big job markets. In this context work areas, educational institutions and some other places become the center of interacting with non-Muslims. This is in fact the real place where a Muslim workforce characterized by Islamic morality and enlightened by the basic principles of daw’ah, can escalate the acceptance of Islam to a great extent.
