Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the book titled “Mukhtasar Sirat-e-Nabvi” by Maulana Abdul Shakur Lakhnawi. The author has divided the biography of the Prophet into four main headings, i.e; the Arabian age of ignorance and its revelation, condition before prophecy, reasons for prophethood, condition after prophecy. The author provides 4 Qur’anic Verses for each topic to prove them. The book consists of a case, four chapters, conclusion and list of verses. The principle adopted by the author in his biography is the biography of the Qur'an. This claim To prove that the Qur'an is the first source in the Sira and the part of the Sira that is to be believed is in the Holy Qur'an, there is no need to go anywhere else in this regard. Has narrated Qur'anic Sira from 203 verses. Maulana Abdul Shakur Lakhnavi has narrated the Qur'anic biography in a new style with 203 verses and this is undoubtedly the first book in Urdu.
