Abstract
Owing to the fact, the doctrine of Eschatology had been an unavoidable theological subject in major world religions. The concept of Resurrection had been evolved in the history and perceived it as the integral part of the Eschatological Sciences. Present study aims to investigate the standpoint of various schools of interpretation between Muslim philosophers and theologians. It will also examine their notion on the subject matter, whether Resurrection will occur in corporeal way OR in Spiritual form? It is found that philosophers are of the view that there will be Spiritual Resurrection only rather than that of physical revival. While most of the theologians urge, that both corporeal and spiritual resurrection will occur on Doomsday. Subsequently, the purpose of Divine justice in the form of Reward and punishment can be also perceived in letter and spirit. This study also wipes out the doubts being raised against the purpose of life of moral being in this world and destination in hereafter.
